Wade Deeper into the Presence of God
Worship is the first part of how we experience and share abundant life as we connect "Up" to God. We encounter the living God, giving thanks and praise and letting God touch and change our hearts. Worship is both individual and communal. Everyone is expected and encouraged to be touched by God in a different way. Worship is also communal because it is the only time the entire church gathers and provides crucial social connections, and because there is joy and beauty in experiencing God with others.
Sermons are relevant and share who God is and how God works in our lives and world. The room is decorated to facilitate personal spirituality. The music is contemporary and easy to sing. Participants are guided through a brief meditation and prayers to find their own connection to God. Communion is celebrated every week, and absolutely everyone can receive it (including young children).
