Pastor Scott Seeke has been an ordained Lutheran minister since 2001. He served at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Roswell from 2001-2006, when he began The River. Born and raised in Upstate New York, Pastor Scott lives in Alpharetta with his wife Beth, also a Lutheran pastor. They have two small children.

Beth Shiver leads Children's Church. She has 20 years of Children's Ministry experience in several churches and is an expert in find creative and fun ways to engage children in a journey of faith.

Reagan Wyssbrod has three years of professional Church Nursery experience, and is a wonderful caretaker for children of all ages.

The Abbendingo Praise Band has led worship at several churches all over the Atlanta area. They have been playing together for five years, the last two at The River. They occasionally play at coffee houses as well, and play a variety of Christian and secular (not written for church) music.
