Pastor Scott Seeke has been an ordained Lutheran minister since 2001. He served at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Roswell from 2001-2006, when he began The River. He is also a writer of the movie Get Low, releasing July 30, 2010 and starring Robert Duvall. Bill Murray and Sissy Spacek. His blog, Script and Scripture, can be found here. Born and raised in Upstate New York, Pastor Scott lives in Alpharetta with his wife Beth, also a Lutheran pastor. They have two children.

Deacon Carol Grosz was trained in Chicago and moved to Alpharetta in 2009, when she joined The River. She serves in the areas of worship leadership, prayer and adult spiritual formation.

The Abbendingo Praise Band has led worship at several churches all over the Atlanta area. They have been playing together for five years, the last two at The River. They occasionally play at coffee houses as well, and play a variety of Christian and secular (not written for church) music.

Beth Shiver leads Children's Church. She has 20 years of Children's Ministry experience in several churches and is an expert in find creative and fun ways to engage children in a journey of faith.

Reagan Wyssbrod has four years of professional Church Nursery experience, and is a wonderful caretaker for children of all ages.
