Wade Deeper into the Presence of God
In The River, we believe Jesus meant it when he said that he came "that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). Abundant life, a life so full of blessings that it just spills over, is available to all of us, and it's not money or possessions. It's relationships, it's peace, it's love and joy. We are called The River because we believe we are all on a journey to have a more abundant life. We do that by modeling our lives after Jesus, who lived his life three ways: Up, Out and In.

Worship is a great place to start exploring abundant life in The River. We encounter the living God, giving thanks and praise and letting God touch and change our hearts. Every week there are snacks and coffee after worship to help you make friends. Prayer and bible study are two other great ways to connect "Up" to God.
The first Sunday of the month is Service First, when everyone in The River goes out to serve those in our community. Absolutely anyone is welcome. Service is crucial to having an abundant life, in which we connect with the hurting world around us on God's behalf.
Once a month on the Second Sunday everyone in The River gathers for a meal. It is a time to get to know others and form "extended family" type relationships. Being part of a faith community is a critical part of an abundant life.
If you are new to The River, welcome! You can visit our Calendar page to find out when and where to start exploring. If you are thinking The River might be the church for you, we invite you to participate in worship, Service First or Second Sunday. Once you have been involved for awhile, consider our biannual Bridge Bible Study, which can help you discover some of the other ways God may be calling you to participate in The River.
Other groups use The River's building for their events, and anyone is welcome to come to these. You can read more about them here, and they are listed at the bottom of our Calendar page.
